23 Year Old man arrested for killing Neighbor’s daughter, harvesting organs for Ritual

 
 
 
In effort to clampdown crime and criminality in Rivers State, the state Police Command early hours of yesterday, arrested a 23 year old man, Ifeanyichukwu Dike,  while on his way to disposed the body of his neighbour’s daughter after using other parts of her body for ritual, around Eliozu in Port Harcourt.
The suspect abducted the 8 year old victim,  Chikamso on Friday, raped, killed and removed some parts of her body for ritual. The suspect was arrested by the vigilante in the area on his way to dispose her body which he carried in a bag.
 
 
Confirming the incident, the state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Nnamdi Omoni told newsmen that “Men of the Okporo Police Station arrested one Ifeanyi Chukwu Maxwell Dike ‘m’ 23yrs of  Messiah Street  Eliozu Port Harcourt, who yesterday (Friday) abducted one Chikamso Victory ‘f’ 8yrs of the same address. The little girl  was abducted, defiled and killed, while her vagina, eyes, tongue  and breast were removed and put in a polythene bag.
 “The suspect was going to dispose of the body, when he was arrested by the local Vigilante that suspected his movement. On being  questioned  the suspect dropped the bag and took to flight.
“Consequently he was given a hot  chase and arrested. On further interrogation by  the Police, he confessed and took the Police to where the vital organs were concealed.”
The PPRO however, disclosed that the body and the organs of the victim have been recovered and  deposited in the mortuary. While the  suspect is  helping the Police in Investigation.
 In similar development, operatives from the Azikiwe Police Station on Stop and Search at the Eagle Island sandfill, on Friday,  intercepted a Toyota Avalon salon car with Reg. No. WER 767 CN  with three occupants, namely: Ignatius Opara,  Aniebiet Daniel and Lawson Basoene.
On searching the car the Police recovered one locally  made Pistol with two 7.62mm live Ammunition which were hidden under the driver’s seat.
The Police further interrogation revealed  that the suspects had stolen the car from where it was packed at  Amadi Ama.
