Nathan Ake, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Tammy Abraham and Nathaniel Chalobah have all also been sold or loaned out, leaving Chelsea’s squad looking extremely thin.
However, as the Metro
report, Antonio Conte has revealed that the club are still hard at work
in the transfer market. Speaking to the Metro following Chelsea’s 2-1
win over Tottenham, he said:
“The club is trying its best in the transfer market to improve our squad but I must be happy. We only have to think on the pitch and not to give answers to people. This moment is not easy for us but I am very happy to have this group of players because they showed me great commitment, desire and will to improve after a great season.”Chelsea have been linked with a £200 million move for five Premier League players by Express. They have claimed that The Blues are targeting Virgil Van Dijk, Ryan Bertrand, Cedric Soares, Danny Drinkwater and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. Only time will tell if we are able to sign any of the aforementioned.
