Leeds United boss Thomas Christiansen has told BBC Radio Leeds that the club are closing in on new additions.
Speaking to the radio station after Leeds 5-1 Carabao Cup win over Newport County, Christiansen was quizzed as to whether any new signings were close.
He responded: "There will be probably be news soon. Yes we are working... good signs.
"I believe this can help us."
Leeds are closing in on the capture of Dutch youth international Jay-Roy Grot.
The Yorkshire Evening Post report that a deal is imminent with the 19-year-old set to fly in to the club to undergo a medical tomorrow (23/8).
The NEC Nijmegen is not the only striker Leeds are looking to secure, with the YEP claiming the Whites could make a second bid for Middlesbrough's Rudy Gestede.
Leeds' transfer activity is being funded by the sale of Chris Wood to Burnley, with owner Andrea Radrizzani pledging the fee would be re-invested in the squad.
The Whites have begun the season unbeaten in all competitions and are keen not to let Wood's departure derail the positive progress being made.
