Hazard scored twice for the Blues at Stamford Bridge and netted Chelsea’s all-important equaliser in the second half as they had to come from a goal down to earn a point.
However, Conte opted to replace Hazard with Willian in the 80th minute at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea searched for a winner.
The Belgian playmaker has been working his way back to full fitness for Chelsea after he missed the first part of the season with an ankle injury.
Hazard has hinted that he was slightly perplexed as to why he was substituted so soon after netting Chelsea’s equaliser.

Speaking after the game to BT Sport, Hazard was asked why he thinks he was substituted, and he replied: “I don’t know, I don’t know. I think sometimes the manager wants me on the bench at the end of the game.
“I pushed to the maximum, I’ve just come back from the injury, so he made his choice.
“Sometimes the guy who comes on the pitch scores the goal, so I have nothing to say about this.”
Hazard will be expecting to feature for Chelsea when the Blues return to Premier League action on Saturday lunchtime with a home clash against Watford at Stamford Bridge.
The west London side are looking to return to winning ways in the Premier League after having lost their last two games in the top flight.
