Man United & Valencia
There are still more than two months to go before the January transfer window opens for business. And, looking further afield, that’s more than half the season to run until the 2018 summer window. That window will also be complicated by the World Cup in Russia.

Jose Mourinho reportedly wants to sign Spanish under-21 international Carlos Soler from Valencia.
Soler, 20, has a £75 million buy-out clause, but it’s believed that Los Che will accept a much lower fee for their midfielder.
Manchester United are pushing to wrap up a £30million deal for Spain under 21 midfielder Carlos Soler before the summer transfer window even opens.
Jose Mourinho sees him as a perfect foil for Paul Pogba and Matic in a midfield three.
Michael Carrick is likely to retire at the end of the season while there are question marks over the Old Trafford futures of Marouane Fellaini and Ander Herrera.
Soler has played a key role in Valencia’s flying start to the season, scoring three times in La Liga already.
On Saturday night in La Liga, Valencia thrashed Sevilla 4-0.
Paul Pogba’s comeback
According to the Star on Sunday, Paul Pogba is set to be back in action by “early December” for Man United. That’s still another six to seven weeks away.Arsenal host Man United in the Premier League on December 2nd.
If paul Pogba isn’t available for the Gunners game, then perhaps he’ll be fit a few days later for Man united’s match against CSKA Moscow in the Champions League.
Alternatively, Man United may hold the midfielder back until the derby against City on December 10.
