Jose Mourinho may have to rely on Victor Lindelof once again in Tuesday night's Carabao Cup tie at Swansea despite the Sweden defender’s blunders in the shock defeat to Huddersfield.
Lindelof
was criticised for his part in both goals after replacing the injured
Phil Jones in the 23rd minute of United’s 2-1 defeat at the John Smith’s
Stadium.
With Jones set to
miss the fourth-round clash with Swansea, and Eric Bailly and Marcos
Rojo only just recovering from injury, Mourinho may have little choice
but to put his faith in United’s £31million summer signing from Benfica.
