A week ago Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho was queried about some recent comments he made-in which he said he does not envision himself finishing his career at Old Trafford and also praised what PSG is doing right now extensively.
The Portugese didn’t reveal much team news at his news conference, as his somewhat contentious back and front with reporters about his future at the club certainly overshadowed evrything else that was said.
Whether you love or hate Jose Mourinho, you might going to have to get used to him being around longer, because sic days it came out that his is in contract talks with United.
He’s potentially in line to get a bumper deal. United are reportedly preparing a five year, £65 million extension. Mourinho is currently in the second year of his three season contract at Old Trafford. The £13 million a year deal is meant to ward off interest from Paris Saint-Germain according Goal who write that:
“And while a source close to PSG has told Goal that the French capital club could well make a splash for the Portuguese in the near future, United are ready to offer their manager a new long-term deal as planned.”

“The answer is that nothing is happening; I am not signing a new five-year contract and I am not leaving for PSG. I have a contract and that is it,” Jose Mourinho said.
“The only thing that I told, and is true and there was not misinterpretation of my words, is I am not going to end my career at Manchester United – and I ask how is it possible in modern football that a manager is going to last 15 or 20 years.”
