Alvaro Morata Goal risked Antonio Conte sack against Man Utd - Joey Barton

Chelsea beat Manchester United 1-0 at Stamford Bridge thanks to a second-half header from Alvaro Morata.
Victory means the Blues maintain the nine-point gap to Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.
Despite winning the title last season Conte’s future has been up in the air since the summer, with the Italian initially frustrated at the club’s transfer business.
The air of discontent at Stamford Bridge has carried into the season and performances on the pitch have not helped Conte’s cause.
And Barton has explained what he feels has changed about the defending champions.

“Antonio Conte is a big personality and I feel like he’s at war with people within the club,” Barton told talkSPORT.
“There was something clearly not right in the summer when he came out against the way they conducted their transfer business.
“I think there’s something not quite right there at this moment in time.
“I honestly thought that if United  won that game, it could have been the end of Conte, which is incredible thinking he’s the manager of the defending Premier League champions.

Chelsea news: Antonio Conte would have been sacked if Man Utd beat the Blues, says Barton
“You know Chelsea , they always have a contingency plan.

“It’s the level of their performances, it’s the way they’re playing.
“I don’t think they are as flamboyant as that they were last year.
“I wouldn’t say they were exactly flamboyant last year but I don’t think they’re as dominant in games.”
