Philippe Coutinho has been urged to leave Liverpool to join Paris Saint-Germain, by captain Thiago Silva.
Liverpool rejected three bids from Barcelona for Coutinho back in the summer, as they repeatedly told the La Liga side they had no intentions of selling the talented playmaker.
Rumours of a Barcelona return have never been too far away however, but PSG have also been credited with an interest in recent weeks.
PSG skipper Silva plays with Coutinho for Brazil, and the centre-back admitted his international teammate would be welcomed at Parc des Princes, despite the wealthy French side shelling out a world-record £200m to land Neymar from Barcelona last summer.
He told Telefoot: "I talk a lot with Coutinho.
"I hope that at the end of the season or even before, it could be a nice surprise for us.
"As with Neymar, I give him a lot of advice. But I think the most important thing for him is to make the best decision."
Coutinho handed in a transfer request on the eve of the current premier league campaign, but the Reds' refused to sell, and the No.10 has been in good form this season.
The Brazil star scored his fifth goal of the campaign in Saturday's 3-0 win over Southampton at Anfield.
