Reporting Says that a deal for the Belgian midfielder to leave Old Trafford is already in place as the Red Devils look to cash in before his contract expires at the end of the season.
The same report claims that the move has already been agreed and that Fellaini will be out of Old Trafford in seven weeks’ time.
Fellaini earned public praise from Mourinho following his performance from the bench in Manchester United’s 1-0 loss to Chelsea before the international break at Stamford Bridge.
However, the same story claims that those comments could now be seen as something of a “public relations exercise”.
Fellaini has scored three goals in seven Premier League appearances so far this season, but he has only been limited to three starts in the top flight.
Manchester United are bound to be linked with a host of players in the coming weeks as the January transfer window draws ever nearer.
The Red Devils are currently second in the Premier League table but already eight points behind leaders Manchester City after 11 games of the new campaign.
